Year 5/6: Mr Kealoha

Welcome to our class page

Welcome back after the Easter break. I do hope that you have been able to spend time with loved ones and have shared in the festivities.

For our year 6s, this is an important time as they will be taking the National exams for English and Maths. They have all worked extremely hard leading up to these and I am very proud of all of them. Just a few more weeks and then you won't hear me say, 'In your SATS' again. I promise!

During this term in our topic sessions, we will complete our look at the Alps, and then in history, we will be looking at some incredible journeys undertaken throughout different time periods. These will range from the journeys of Walter Raleigh to the hazardous journeys taken by refugees nowadays.

P.E sessions - P.E sessions will be outside so please try to ensure that the children come to schools in their P.E uniforms ready for all possible weather conditions.

Please remember that homework will be set each week via MyMaths, Spelling Shed or TTRockstars. Should you not have a password or find that you are unable to access the learning, please contact me and I will endeavor to get the details to you as soon as possible.

School updates will be communicated via the school newsletter, email or text message. However, if you have any further questions or require more details, please contact the school office.
