PSED (Parents) Last week we discussed why Beegu felt so sad. As the story continued we saw that some people treated him differently because he didn't look the same as them. We have discussed these issues in school a lot and the children have a very good understanding about treating everyone equally. With things that are going on in the news lately they might have more questions. I have put a link to a book that also covers the issues some people are facing at the minute you might like to use it to have a chat with your child. This week we are starting our new book. I would like you to look at the front cover of the book and think about what the book might be about. Can you write a sentence about what the book will be about. Can you draw some pictures of characters you think will be in the text?

Last week you identified lots of different leaves. Can you use different leaves this week to create natural artwork using twigs and leaves, do you remember which trees the leaves are from? Here are some examples:  I would love to see your pictures
