Year 4: Mr Marchant and Mrs Scott

Welcome to Year 4

We were all looking forward to being able to welcome parents back into school grounds for sports day and were so disappointed that updated guidance meant this wasn't possible. In the event, the weather conditions were far from ideal, but the children remained positive, encouraged each other and did us all proud. We hope they told you all about it and that you enjoy looking at the photos below.

Curriculum Information Summer Term 2021

Home Learning

 

Friday 9th July

  • My Maths: Please complete any outstanding tasks and new tasks set for this week. There are also games to play, if the children wish to.
  • TT Rockstars/Numbots: please spend at least 20 minutes practising your number facts. 
  • Spelling Shed: Please spend at least 20 minutes on here.
  • Reading: Please read as often as you can, but at least four times a week. The children should bring a selection of appropriate books home on a Monday and can return them whenever they've finished them.
  • Those registered, should also complete their Lexia or Nessy usage.
  • Next week we are learning about rivers flooding, so we would like the children to talk to any family or friends who have memories or direct experience of the Carlisle floods and the impact they had on individuals and communities.
