Year 4/5: Mr Kealoha

Welcome to Year 4/5.

Dear all,

Welcome back to the new term. I  hope that you have all had a restful break over the Easter holidays, enjoying copious amounts of chocolate.

During our topic this term we will be exploring the incredible historical period of the Anglo-Saxons. This topic, often known as the dark ages due to the lack of written records is anything but that and I am excited to share all there's to know about this intriguing area of British history.

We will be continuing to complete Kensuke's Kingdom before moving onto our next text to take us to the end of the year.

Home work will be set on MyMaths and Spelling Shed, weekly, and the children should also practise their times tables using TTRockstars.

The class are enjoying reading more now than ever and any encouragement from home is gratefully received.

If for any reason your child is unable to attend school, a weekly time table of activities will be available each week with links to lessons and any resources needed. Should you have any queries please direct them to the class email where I will endeavour to answer them as quickly as possible.

Kind regards.

Mr S Kealoha
