Welcome to team Year 4/5!
Homework Week ending 28th February 2025.
In addition to the children's usual homework tasks, the class have been challenged to complete a 'book in a box' ready for our World Book Day celebrations on Thursday the 6th of March.
Our theme is traditional tales and the children should create a book in a box centred around one of these traditional tales.
Book in a box can be completed using a shoe box or any box of a similar size. The children have encouraged to be as creative as possible! We can't wait to share all of our wonderful creations in Y4/5.
The children can also dress up as a character from a traditional tale if they wish.
I am really looking forward to the rest of our Spring Term following the half-term rest! I hope you all had a lovely week off.

Last week, we wrote a poem and an atmosphere description. I would like you to practise using your wonderful writer's knowledge.
Please use this photo of a storm to help you write one of the following:
Either a narrative poem about the storm, using 'In the middle of the storm I see...' and 'In the middle of the storm I find...'.
Can you use personification and alliteration?
Or an atmosphere description about navigating the storm.
Can you use commas for parenthesis?
Can you use repeated rhetorical questions?

Please log onto Spelling Shed and complete your tasks.
