Year 4 - Mr Marchant

Welcome to Year 4

Happy New Year

I hope you all had an enjoyable start to the new year. We have a lot to look forward to this year and I am excited to get started.

Our new PE day is Thursday and we are lucky to be joined by John Easton who will be delivering our PE sessions this half term.

Mrs Scott will still be with us on Tuesday afternoons and all day on Fridays and she is very much enjoying teaching the children again.

Homework will be set every Thursday and will be due the following Friday.

Every week, children will be set a task on TT rockstars, My Maths and EdShed (Spelling Shed) as well as another task linked to something we have been learning that week.  Children can now practise their learning gaps from their CLICs online on the Big Maths Dashboad: https://home.bigmaths.com/user/login

It also has a resource page within the learning gaps to assist parents with their understanding of that progress drive. Please get in touch if you would like some help with it.

Read your ZPD books each day, we will be completing our Star reader quizzes in class each week.

If you have any issues accessing any of these websites, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via the school office.
