Welcome to Year 5
Welcome back! We hope you all had a fabulous Easter and managed to spend some quality time with your families.
P.E
Our PE day continues to be on a Thursday and we will again be split into two groups: one group with Mr Easton and the other with Mrs Bradley.
Homework:
Homework will be set every Friday and will be due the following Friday. Every week, children will be set tasks on TT rockstars, My Maths and EdShed (Spelling Shed).
Children should also practise their learning gaps from their CLICs online on the Big Maths Dashboard: https://home.bigmaths.com/user/login
It also has a resource page within the learning gaps to assist parents with their understanding of that progress drive.

Reading:
Children should read their ZPD books each day. We will be completing our Star Reader quizzes in class each week and attempting to beat our word count record from last year where we had 5 word millionaires.
