Good morning,
Thank you to all those who took part in our World Book Day quiz.
All resources and videos are below for today. If you do not have the materials for the art lesson do not worry, we will prepare our lava in school if needed.
Maths - Year 4, work your way through the example questions on the Powerpoint, and then have a go at the questions. Answers are also available for you to check your work.

Thursday
Today I will catch up with the year 4s in the Zoom session. In the afternoon we will be having a look at any costumes from alone who has decided to dress up for World Book Day; doing a book character quiz and finally finishing the next chapter of our book.

Just to remind you, all small group sessions with me are cancelled this week.
Science: For science the year 4s will need to visit this site before working through the Powerpoint and completing the tasks.
Year 5s can work through the Powerpoints and complete the tasks in the downloads section.
Congratulations to Louix and Lois for getting the flames in our Flame Assembly yesterday.

I will work with the year 5s at 11:15 am today. This will be a session to address any questions that you have about work or the return to school next week.

If you have the opportunity and would like to dress as your favourite character from a book for our World Book Day Zoom session on Thursday please do. I would also love it if you could send a photo of yourself in your costume which we could put on a display in class. If you decide not to get dressed up, maybe you could send a photo of yourself reading in your favourite place. for the display.

I hope that you all had a great weekend.
This week I will have to reduce my Zoom sessions as I prepare for the return to school:
- All small group sessions will not take place.
- Class zooms on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be as normal. There will be no class Zoom session on Tuesday.
- Class storytime will be as normal at 2:15 pm.
- Thursday's Storytime Zoom will be a special World Book Day session.
World Book Day is this week so each days English task will be linked to this for the week before returning to Kensuke's Kingdom when we return to school.
