Good Morning 6B

I hope you are all well and that you are having a good week. I was wondering if any of you have started any new hobbies throughout the lockdown period. If so, I would love to hear about them.

Flashback 4: You know the drill... here are the answers on yesterday's Flashback 4. A couple of you got caught out with Q2 today. The best way to look at this is to set it out as a ratio. For example:

Juice : Water = Total Parts

  2    :     3    =       5

 10   :     ?

By doing this, you can find out what you need to multiply each number by.

We can see that 2 x 5 = 10 therefore, we also need to multiply the 3 by 5.

Let's check out today's questions...

Reading: We are fast approaching the end of the school year and I know that many of you have been enjoying the story of Holes, so today I would like you to read the next three chapters. No comprehension questions today though smiley. Download the next three chapters below.

Maths: I have been incredibly impressed so far 6B with your recall of angle facts. Today will be our final session and it involves looking at angles in regular polygons. Have a watch through of the video below and then complete the activity sheet. Please get in touch if you do need any help. As always there are some challenging questions in there.

Tip: Remember a regular polygon has equal sides and angles.
