Week 9 - Lesson 2 - Area of triangles

There is a lot involved with finding the area of triangles so please make sure you are confident using the different methods that they describe here. If you need to, take a couple of days to work on this. I have provided extra questions that you can practice to really help you feel confident that you can find the area. (Answers included so no peeking before you answer the questions.

Watch through the video below before having a go at writing the conclusion of your report on a deadly animal. The advice here can be applied to your writing and the 3 sections of the conclusion they describe are an excellent way to organise your conclusion.

Write a Conclusion

As time marches on your journey to Secondary School comes closer to it destination. Usually, in school, we would spend lots of time thinking about this transition, what will happen and how you feel about it. At the moment we can't do that together so I feel that is even more important to think about this important stage in your lives now.

Work through the power point presentation (use the details in the notes of each slide to help with what you need to do).

I have also put a list of excellent graphic novels that can help with transition in the DAILY RESOURCES. They are worth having a look at if you have a chance.
