Good morning Year 2! Did you enjoy the workout yesterday? Give yourself a rainbow clap if you did it! I’ll be doing the same again this morning, please join me.
I enjoyed giving some of you feedback on your work yesterday, I hope you all got on OK. I would love to hear from you all though to see how you are getting on. The blog on Purple Mash enables us to talk to each other, so we can see how we are all doing. To find our blog, please log in to Purple Mash>sharing>shared blogs>year 2 blog. Please add a message on there to let me know how you are getting on or if I can help in any way. I’m looking forward to finding out what you’ve been up to! Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can't log in.
For maths today head on over to https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/
and click on the video called lesson 1 – making equal parts. Complete the activity to go along with this video.
The -ing words on your Spelling Shed will be there for the rest of the week – don’t forget to let me know your scores over on Purple Mash.
If you are reading ZPD books you are now able to access the quizzes from home. If you read books at home, see if you can do a quiz on it.
Since most of us won’t be able to see how well our beans are growing in class, why not grow your own seeds at home and keep a diary of their growth? You could grow something in your home or in the garden. I’ve just planted some pansy seeds and I’ll be keeping a seed diary over on our Purple Mash blog.
The litter writing activity will be available to complete for the rest of the week. If you need any help with this, you can message me on there.
I hope you are having a good week so far and are outside enjoying this wonderful weather. Don’t forget there are a range of activities for you to complete on the letter sent home on Friday which is also linked down below.
I look forward to receiving your work and messages tomorrow.
