TT Rockstars - BATTLE

Well done, almost ½ of our class have now joined in with this week’s battle against Year 3.  They may have taken the lead yesterday, but you are doing so well and pulling together as a team.  Remember, the battle ends at 3pm tomorrow.  You can do it Year 3/4!

English

We will continue to read this Twinkl original eBook which is set in the Stone Age.  This week’s tasks focus on Chapters 4 and 5.

Suggested timetable for this week’s tasks:

Monday – read and/or watch the video of Chapter 4 being read.  You could then answer some or all of the related comprehension questions.

Tuesday – complete the ‘Food and Eating Words’ Activity Sheet – Part A and/or Part B.

Wednesday – read and/or watch the video of Chapter 5 being read.  You could then answer some or all of the related comprehension questions.

Thursday – complete the ‘Dictionary Skills’ Activity Sheet – Part A and/or Part B.

The resources for yesterday’s reading comprehension task are still available below, along with the ‘Dictionary Skills’ Activity Sheet.  There are two parts and you can choose to complete one or both parts today.

Spelling

This is revision week and each day this week there has been a different task to try on the Spelling Shed website.  Today is the final task which means that all of the Year 3 or Year 4 spelling rules have been covered.

If you would like to, you could also use the sheets I have uploaded below to help you practise the spelling rules over the summer break.

If you have a Lexia or Nessy login, don't forget to keep up with your usage. Try to spread it out throughout the week in short blocks (i.e. no more than 20 mins at a time).

Music

Please follow the link below to a BBC Bitesize lesson.  In this lesson you will learn about how to make music with objects you can find around your house or garden.
