Thursday 2nd July

Thursday 2nd July 2020

Are you looking for some ideas to get you moving?  Why not take a look at the ‘Throwing and Catching Workout 2’ sheets for some inspiration.

Alternatively, you could have a go at one of the events suggested in last week’s National School Sport Week at Home activity ideas booklet.

Maybe you could choose your favourite again or try something new?

Quick Maths

We have one more TT Rockstars Battle which is due to start at 9am next Monday.  You will be battling against the Year 3 class again.  Your previous battle against Year 3 was so close, with both classes exceeding 20,000 points over the course of 5 days!  Please log on to the TT Rockstars website and practise your recall of times tables facts to continue to improve your speed and accuracy.  Good luck Year 3/4! laugh

Today’s task: Miss Bradley’s Writing Challenge

Each week Miss Bradley will post a writing challenge for you to have a go at.  Click on the link below and follow the instructions for the task.  I look forward to reading your diary entries this week.

Today’s task involves looking at a bank of words taken from the three chapters you have read so far in ‘How to Skin a Bear’.  There are two parts – you can choose to complete one or both parts of the ‘Vocabulary’ activity sheet.  You will find the answers on pages 4 and 5 of the document.

If you have a Lexia or Nessy login, don't forget to keep up with your usage. Try to spread it out throughout the week in short blocks (i.e. no more than 20 mins at a time).

Please follow the link below to a BBC Bitesize lesson.  In this lesson you will learn the basics of talking about your family and hobbies in French.
