TT Rockstars - BATTLE
It is a very close battle. When I first checked the scores yesterday morning, the Year 3 class were just ahead. By the afternoon you had taken the lead. Last time I checked the Year 3 class had increased their score again. It is a great team effort with two thirds of our class now taking part. The battle ends at 3pm tomorrow so keep going Year 3/4!
Please log on to the My Maths website and complete the task set for today: Interpreting Data.
Have a go at today’s maths lesson on the BBC Bitesize website using one of the links below.
Y3 = Order numbers up to 1000
Y4 = Negative numbers
As always, don’t forget to find some time today to keep active, either indoors or outdoors. Can you think of something different to try today? You can always let us know what you have been doing via the Purple Mash blog or our class email. If you prefer, Joe Wicks’ daily live P.E. session can be accessed here:
If you haven’t already done so, please log on to Spelling Shed and try to complete this week’s game 5 times. Remember you can increase (or decrease) the difficulty if necessary.
If you have completed this assignment and you are looking for something else, why not try one or two of the activities from the ‘Challenge Weeks’ pack. You can use this week’s spellings or choose some of the tricky words from the Year 3/4 additional word list.
Please continue filling in the ‘Time Capsule Activity Booklet’ as a piece of evidence that could help somebody in the future learn about what life was like at this moment in time. If you haven’t already downloaded the booklet, you will find a copy below.
If you would like to, you could put this booklet along with a copy of the thank you letter that you wrote earlier in the week and any other objects you think represent the current situation in to a suitable container and store it somewhere safe. If you can find a strong, waterproof container (something that will not biodegrade) you could even bury it in your garden, provided you have permission of course.
Try to set aside some time for independent reading. Well done to the three children in our class who have already completed a Star Reader quiz this week. If you are looking for something different to read, you will find a copy of the most recent edition of First News that we have under the ‘Children’ tab on our website.
If you have a Lexia or Nessy login, don't forget to keep up with your usage. Try to spread it out throughout the week in short blocks (i.e. no more than 20 mins at a time).
Our question for this half term is 'What does Islam teach Muslims about how to live their lives?'. An important time of the year for Muslims begins today – Ramadan.
