Thursday 6K W1

Warm-up: Has anyone else done all of the Joe Wicks workouts including over the Easter break? I have only missed one day so far.

I haven't received any juggling videos yet so I assume we are still practising. (Keep going!)

Maths:

  1. Check my answers to the Which One Doesn't Belong problem from Tuesday in the video below.
  2. Start with the Would You Rather? video and question. Answers via email please.
  3. Carry on with the White Rose work. Day 3. I have got a little introduction video for you to watch that should help with the questions.
  4. Follow that up with some questions on SATs Companion.

 English:

  1. Keep practising on Spelling Shed (10 mins minimum please)
  2. Complete the SATS companion, SPAG.com or Mirodo work that you have.
  3. We will be doing a piece of writing based on a short film about Arachne from an old Greek myth. First it is important to find out what a myth is.
  4. Watch the video  What Is a Myth?  and then try to write a set of success criteria that you would need to write a myth or legend. I have made a template for this in Purple Mash if you would like to use it.

Afternoon work:

Music: Travel over to Soundation and have a play around with using the program to create your own music. We will be writing our own backing track for a Greek themed rap this term.

I've made a quick introduction video below to get you started (available after lunch).

You will need an email address to sign up for an account.
