Phased Reopening of Schools

UPDATE: Wider Reopening of School

Stages in the Reopening of Scotby CE School

Further to the letter of 21st May (see below) our school will begin to reopen from 1st June in the following steps:


June 1st: existing hub users

Key worker children and vulnerable children who have been accessing our Hub Provision at Pennine Way since Friday 27th March will return to school at staggered times.  An individual letter will be sent to these parents via email asap.


June 2nd: processing new Key Worker registration forms (see form below)

School will begin to process applications for new users of the key worker provision - these pupils will be slotted in to 'bubbles' as soon as possible and no later than 8th June.


June 8th: return of additional EHC/Vulnerable users

Where appropriate, we will welcome new EHC and vulnerable pupils to school.


June 15th: return to school of priority year groups

If staffing and space allow, year groups prioritised by the government as Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 will start to return.



Registering for Critical/Key Worker Provision at Scotby (new users only).


Families who have not been accessing our provision at the Pennine Way Hub need to email the following to :


  • completed  registration form scanned or photographed (see form below)
  • key worker ID scanned/emailed
  • days that the provision is required


We will begin to process new applications when we return to school and contact you with a start date by Monday 8th June at the latest.
