Friday 22nd May

Friday 22nd May 2020

Today is the last day of this half term and I have one more task for you relating to kindness.  Please take a moment to watch the video below, which is for all the children who can't hug the ones they love. heart Mrs Irving

While We Can't Hug

Hedgehog and Tortoise want to give each other a great big hug, but they're not allowed to touch. From the creators of the internationally adored The Hug, Eoi...

Hello year 3 and 4,

You have nearly made it through a whole half term of home learning. I have been very impressed with the work you have sent me and your Mums and Dads deserve a big round of applause for helping you with everything. It can't have been easy.

Today we are looking at animal habitats and our effect on them. You need to go for a walk in your local area and have a look around at how humans my have damaged wildlife habitats. Below you will find a power point to set you off and then a couple of tasks to complete, one of which is to design your own animal habitat. You can draw your ideas for this on a plain piece of paper and label how each features encourages wildlife. The year 4 class did this last week and came up with some impressive ideas.

Have a lovely half term, fingers crossed for some fine weather.
