Good Morning all, can you believe that it is already the end of the first week back? A big thank you for the work that continues to be sent into me, I love seeing my email notification ping up with something to look at and I have been extremely impressed by the art, history, English and maths that I have received this week. Make sure you keep sending it over.

Next week in maths we will be starting a new unit by revisiting algebra so for today I have given you a puzzle to work through. It includes and element of percentages and decimals.

Today's writing is based on what we have done so far this week with Holes and again, make sure you send me a copy to have a look through.

Remember that you can still quiz on Accelerated Reader books from home so please login and do a quiz when you have completed a read.

Finally, I forgot to finish off Trash so I have finished off the book for you today. Enjoy.

Today lets play around with shapes and solve one of my favourite puzzles. Watch the video to get started and email over you discoveries.

Let's start to look into Early Islamic Civilisation in a bit more detail by investigating Baghdad around 900AD. We will using our geography skills to investigate the city and learning a little bit about what the Silk Road was and it's importance in the development of the Early Islamic Civilisation and in particular, Baghdad.
