Maths

 

Please complete your My Maths activity before the end of the week on modelling fractions of amounts. Some of you have work on odds and evens linking on from our game yesterday.

 

If you don’t have a my maths activity, let’s do something practical with finding fractions of amounts. Get a pile of objects (could be grapes, stones, leaves etc) – it must be an even number – can you find ½ of the objects? What about ¼? ¾? I'd love to see photos of your work.

I’ll be listening to David Walliams again at 1100am today; don’t forget you can spend some time reading your own books too. Well done to the Lexia peeps who have completed their weekly usage already this week. If you haven’t, please spend time today and over the weekend to get this done.

You don’t have to print it out, you can just talk about it with your parents if you like. Talk or write about who you would like to connect with during this time. Perhaps afterwards you could actually connect with that person if it’s possible.
