Good morning Year 2, it's Friday again!
Suggested activities for today:
PE with Joe, or this cosmic kids yoga about a T. Rex called Tiny.
You have a choice here, you can complete lesson 4 which is adding and subtracting 1s or you can do the Friday challenge, which is all about making making butterfly pizzas. If you make the pizzas send me a photo, I'd love to see them!
Summer Term week 3 either lesson 4 (add and subtract ones) or lesson 5 (Friday challenge).
Since you are enjoying the computing activities, I have one more for you this week. It's about sending and receiving emails. I've got a video explaining how if the 2Do on Purple Mash is confusing. You can also send me an email over there if you like.
Let's finish this week with an activity to help you focus on the positives and avoid arguments while in lockdown. Every day you will make someone happy – you may not even know that you have done this. Try to think of all the things you have done and all the conversations you have had with people in this activity. You can just talk about this with an adult if you'd rather.
On this activity, there are ten statements below that all start with ‘I can’. Think about all the things you CAN do. There are a few examples to help you get started.
• ‘I can’ make other people smile.
• ‘I can’ be what I want to be.
• ‘I can’ be brave.
• ‘I can’ see that I have lots of special qualities.
Have a great day and a fabulous weekend guys, I'll see you soon!
