This week we have lots of interesting activities planned. We start the week with the class presenting their work on planets to each other using power point presentations, posters, quizzes and lots of other approaches to help each other become experts in the planets.
During literacy the children will be planning, writing and performing play-scripts based on 'Cosmic' our class text (focused specifically on the role of parents).
In maths we will spend the week investigating spirals and lots of tasks related to that, involving lots of their core numeracy skills and beyond.
In topic they will start to record their investigations into the orbits of planets in relation to the Sun.
The children will continue to hone their skills using the new music programs that they have started to learn to program, whilst in P.E, Harry will carry on with the relays that they started last week. Thursady is Outdoor Learning days, so we will be joining with Year 5/6 to work outside on a range of interesting and fun activities including orienteering that will further develop all of our skills across a range of subjects.
Please continue to read with your children and ensure they practice their maths facts at every opportunity.
