 Scotby takes up this fairly new schools initiative which shows benefits to children's learning from regular exercises for coordination and balance.

 

BLUE WATCH

An awesome demonstration of Fire Engine's  for Reception and Year 1 - No water hose it was too cold.

They have a new computerised tender for the ladder - it is going through  reliability trials at present.

Year 5 enjoyed a good weeks weather apart from a wet Wednesday afternoon. Many were predictably  tired after all the week's activities.

Mountain Biking, Canoeing, Tree climbing, Ropes Course, Zip line to name a few. A Full 700MB photo collection available to participants on CD.

Reception's  new play area Open for Activity

The Portacabin area is now ready for the infants to use. Just in time the panels come for the ceiling

      

Finally the hardwood floor is laid onto a  thin polystyrene sheet and linked together with metal clips that slot invisibly underneath.  This allows the wood to move with changes in temperature and humidity without cracking and forming gaps  as the wood shrinks with age.
