This site is paid for by William Howard Secondary School and given to each of its catchment Primary schools to use .
It is maintained by the Guardian Newspaper.
It contains ready made lessons and activities on Newspapers - Literacy, Numeracy and Science and all curriculum subjects which parents can join in with at home.
It even has video help files on all manner of things to do with computers for those interested.
It also has superb history and geography video cartoons which cover exactly what is taught in schools. These are all interactive and in colour requiring a computer that is about three years old or younger to work well.
It parallels the latest facility we have in school called Espresso - run by the Telegraph Newspaper but Espresso is not available at home.
Teachers may set home work on this site so you can work with your child if you wish.
We are planning a special parents night at school to introduce the site for you.
